Tulsa has churches!
I'm just amazed at all the beautiful churches in Tulsa. Tulsa is famous for its Art Deco architecture and we visited the Boston Avenue Methodist Church. This church is known as an outstanding example of Art Deco design. Kathleen took my picture in front of the sculptures over the south doors of the church. These are statues of circuit riders, the Methodist preachers who traveled on horseback bringing the Word to small towns all over rural America. The other photo is an example of Art Deco design on the parking lot lights. I like Art Deco!
